We are excited to help faculty, administrators, and staff conducting research for advanced degrees. We support research on any topic. We are often asked to support research into community colleges & higher education, so this guide outlines resources along those lines.

Services for Dissertation and Thesis Writers

  • Literature Review Assistance Partner with a librarian who can help you review topics and access articles, books, and websites. Contact the library Department Chair, Troy Swanson, (708) 974-5439 or swanson@morainevalley.edu.
  • Interlibrary Loan Order items from libraries around the world. Visit our ILL page for more info.
  • Current Awareness Service Faculty and administrative staff members can request copies of the table of contents of journals delivered to their campus mailbox. Contact Stacey Reichard at at (708) 974-5476 or reichards2@morainevalley.edu. If you are interested in setting up auto-alerts within the research databases, contact a reference librarian.
